The main purpose of the Scientific Cyber Security Association of Ukraine is to improve the overall level of cybersecurity of Ukrainian society through the implementation of scientific, research, technical and educational activities in the field of cyber security and related industries aimed at the development of the said industry and satisfaction of professional interests of its members.

To realize this goal, the Scientific Cyber Security Association of Ukraine develops and implements projects and integrated strategies in the following areas:

development of scientific areas in the field of cybersecurity;

the development of education (formal and informal) in the field of cyber security;

integrating the efforts of professionals and companies in the field of cyber security;

growing Ukraine’s reputation and image in the world.

The objectives of the Organisation are:

To create a conscious community of active scientists and practitioners.

Organization of specialized trainings, scientific conferences and seminars in the field of cyber security.

To conduct research (scientific and technical), project and analytical work in the field of cyber security.

Promotion and implementation of cyber security ideas in different areas.

Implementation of innovative educational activities in the field of cyber security.

Certification of specialists in different areas (in different domains) in the field of cyber security.

Activity

To perform its tasks in the manner prescribed by the current legislation of Ukraine, the Scientific Cyber Security Association of Ukraine carries out the following:

conducts seminars, trainings and other forms of education;
cooperates with national, foreign and international organizations;
participates in the activities of local, regional, national and international associations/associations/unions;
carries out other activities not prohibited by law.

SCSA Code of Conduct

The Scientific Association of Cybersecurity of Ukraine NGO “NAKBU” has formulated a strategic framework that serves as a guide for our members, employees, partners, and sets the direction of our activities and the tone of communication between us. This framework includes the goal, business model and the path to profitable growth of the company. The Code of Conduct of NGO “NAKBU” is the basis of our strategy. This code introduces the concept of the most important corporate policies and principles, in particular regarding the principles of conducting the activities of NGO “NAKBU”. In our activities, we always unswervingly adhere to the principles of ethical behavior and respect for human rights. Acting in this way is the responsibility of each of us, starting from the top management. I firmly believe that an ethical approach is vital to the success of our business. Illegal or unethical behavior of members and employees of NGO “NAKBU” or any representatives of the Group can undermine our reputation for honesty and integrity, and is considered completely unacceptable. Each of us is responsible for creating an Association where we work with pride and are guided in all our actions and decisions by the principles of ethical behavior, integrity and respect for people and our planet. Please read the Code of Conduct for Members and Employees. It tells you what we expect from you. Use it as a guide and be guided by its provisions in your work. Please keep in mind that the Code cannot anticipate all the situations you may encounter. There are times when the right way to behave is not obvious. If you have any questions, please ask for help.

Advisory Board

The Advisory Board is an advisory and consultative body of the Organization and advises the governing bodies of the Organization on compliance with the main objectives and activities of the Organization, adjusting them as necessary, advising on the formation of a strategy for cyber security in Ukraine, as well as compliance with legislation and the Charter in the activities of the Organization.

The current composition of the Advisory Council was approved at the meeting of the Board of the Association on November 22, 2022.
