Carpathian Cybersecurity Winter Training Camp 2023
Dear colleagues!
The Scientific Cybersecurity Association of Ukraine invites scientific, pedagogical and scientific-pedagogical workers of educational institutions and scientific institutions, civil servants, cyber security practitioners, all those interested to take part in the program of advanced training in the field of cyber security “Carpathian Winter Cybersecurity Week 2024“.
General inforamtion: professional development will be organized in the form of a series of offline events:
Event 1 – International scientific and practical conference “Third International Conference on Cyber Hygiene & Conflict Management in Global Information Networks” (publication in the CEUR Workshop Proceedings periodical with subsequent indexing in the Scopus database)
Event 2 – All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference “Cyber protection of the individual, society and the state” (satellite conference)
Event 3 – Round table “Problems of cyber defense of the state in conditions of war“
Venue: village Velyatino of Zakarpattia Oblast
Program period: January 24, 2024 – January 27, 2024

Offline event “Carpathian Winter Cybersecurity Week 2024” plan:
January 24, 2024, morning – check-in of participants, orientation events, initial trainings
January 24, 2024, second half of the day – ceremonial opening of the Program, presentation of reports by participants of the conference “Cyber protection of the individual, society and the state” (satellite conference)
January 24, 2024, the evening is a friendly dinner
January 25, 2024 – holding the Third International Conference on Cyber Hygiene & Conflict Management in Global Information Networks
January 26, 2024, morning, afternoon – networking
January 26, 2024, the day of the round table “Problems of cyber defense of the state in conditions of war”
January 26, 2023, evening – gala dinner
January 27 – excursions, free time, departure of participants
Working language: Ukrainian, English.
Form of participation: full-time.
The total amount of the program: 30 hours (1 ECTS credit).

Conference "Cyber protection of the individual, society and the state"
Thematic plan:
- Theory and methods of conducting cyber wars
- Modern cyber threats, cyber attacks and cyber incidents
- Cyber weapons and their use
- The main tools, means and technologies of conducting cyber warfare
- Methods and means of protection in the conditions of cyber warfare
- Cyber protection of the state’s critical information infrastructure in conditions of cyber warfare
