The project "Retraining of veterans by the academic community to involve them in work in urban centers for the provision of administrative services and the IT industry"

Implementation period: September 1, 2023 – December 31, 2023.
Performers: Scientific Cybersecurity Association of Ukraine and public organization/NGO “Cyber Diia Platform”.
The main goal of the project is the reintegration of veterans through career guidance, training, internships and employment in administrative service centers and IT companies in specially created Competence and Innovation Centers.

To achieve the goal, the following tasks will be solved:

Creation of Centers of competences and innovations

Creation of six "Cyber Diya" competence and innovation centers throughout Ukraine in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, universities, NGO "NAKBU", NGO "Cyber Diya" and Diya.Business. These centers will become centers for advanced training and retraining of veterans.

Acquisition of digital competencies by veterans

Recruitment and 2-month training of 120 veterans under the guidance of leading university teachers and mentors on the basis of six regional Centers of Competence and Innovation.

Organization of internship

Organization of training for 60 veterans (50% of veterans who have completed training) in administrative service centers in six regions for one month.

Employment assistance

Ensuring the employment of 60 veterans in various positions in the Central Military Academy, private companies or as private entrepreneurs.
